Rejection

DON’T BE AFRAID OF REJECTION

If writing is your passion, then you are doing it for more than the almighty dollar.  However it can still be a rock on the dirt road when you get a rejection.  That does not mean you need to give up on that piece all together, it just means maybe it was not ready, or needs to be rewritten.  Set it aside, let it rest, when you come back to it, it will be with new eyes.  You will then be able to better pick out what may need to be changed.  Once it is ready, send it back out again!

Just like we tell our kids, try, try again….and practice makes perfect.  A lesson to remember
